I am Tanya White-Anderson and I am ecstatic to offer my passion for empowering the party, empowering the party to change and uplift the Harnett citizens and democratic values. I am confident that my experience as a devoted advocate for the people, Union Labor representative, a Federal Retiree of 33 years, and leadership expert will be a powerful catalyst for uplifting our community. Additionally, as a mother, grandmother, former educator, the Stewarts Creek precinct chair, former State Senate Dist 12 Candidate, Vice Chair of Military and Family Caucus, and veteran, I embody resilience, perseverance, fairness and determination, inspiring a brighter future for all. If selected as 1st vice chair of the Harnett County Democratic Party, I will work tirelessly to support the chair, provide guidance where needed, help precinct chairs organize and increase volunteer participation, foster teamwork and inspire a brighter future for all, uplifting our community with hope, unity, and a shared vision for a better tomorrow. |

Christina Dineen Secretary |

Thank you for considering me to continue on in the role of Secretary as you cast your ballot for our next Democratic Harnett County Executive Officers. Over the last 9 months or so I have learned a lot about VoteBuilder, NationBuilder/website, and how the party and CEC meetings work. I would be grateful to continue on that journey and I believe, as a scientist and former teacher, that I have the skills to be successful in this role: organization, detail-oriented, (somewhat) technology savvy, and a true love/passion for spreadsheets that make life easier (I really do have a spreadsheet for everything!). I look forward to helping move our party forward and working as a team to get Democrats elected in Harnett County. |
These candidates will be voted on at the April 26 Democratic County Convention. To vote at the convention, you have to attend the March 22 All County Precinct meeting and your precinct 'organized'. By attending the precinct meeting and your precinct electing a chair, vice chair and secretary, you will be considered a voting 'delegate' to the county convention.
