A bit long, but if anyone says, "But what have the Democrats done?" as an excuse to not vote, remind them:
Economy:
- Created over 10 million jobs
- The unemployment rate fell from 6.4 to 3.7 percent
- Produced the largest yearly increase in U.S. manufacturing jobs in nearly 30 years
- Expanded the Child Tax Credit which led to the largest-ever one-year decrease in childhood poverty in American history
- Forgave $10,000 per student in loan debt, $20,000 for those who received Pell grants, eliminated debt for 20 million Americans
Infrastructure:
- Invested to build microchips in America and boost federal scientific research and development and make the U.S. less dependent on China for electronic parts.
- Invested $350 billion in highway programs, making our roads and bridges safer
- Invested in rural broadband internet
Health:
- Expanded VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits and other toxic substances in a combat zone
- Permitted Medicare to negotiate the price of prescription medication
- Medicare recipients will now get with free vaccines and caps out-of-pocket insulin at $35 monthly
- Protected and expanded the ACA
Public Safety & Justice:
- Passed “red flag” laws to remove firearms from people deemed to be a danger to themselves or others
- Passed an anti-Asian hate crimes law
- Updated and reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act
- Appointed Ketanji Brown Jackson, the first African American Woman, to the Supreme Court
Defense:
- Executed the largest airlift in US History
- Brought 9/11 mastermind Ayman al-Zawahiri to justice
- Brought Sweden and Finland, two traditional neutrals, into the NATO alliance
- Led Western support and aide for Ukraine, defending their freedom from Russian invasion
