Harnett County Democratic Party Officers
Harnett County Democratic Party Committee Meetings
Harnett County Commons Area
First Wednesday of every month | 6:30 PM
Check the calendar for the full list of upcoming meetings and events.
Our committees are where the real work happens: planning events, organizing volunteers, spreading the word, and making an impact in our communities.
Our committee meetings are a great place to learn more, share your ideas, and take action.
This meeting is open, and all are invited to attend, make comments, voice an opinion, but cannot vote on matters. So, bring your curiosity, your energy, and your commitment to a stronger, more inclusive Harnett County.

Chair: Walter Gaskin
Active Service & Military Families
The Veterans of Harnett County Committee proudly honors those who have served in our nation’s Armed Forces, and works to ensure their voices are heard in our local Democratic movement.
Veterans bring leadership, integrity, and a commitment to community that strengthens our party and our mission.
Our committee advocates for policies that support veterans, their families, and all those who have sacrificed for our freedoms. We also work to build a welcoming space where veterans can continue serving; this time through civic engagement, community leadership, and public service here at home.
If you’re an active service duty member, a veteran or a family member of one, we invite you to join us as we continue the work of building a stronger, fairer Harnett County for all.
Looking for support services, benefits, or programs for veterans and military families in North Carolina? The NC Department of Military and Veterans Affairs offers a comprehensive Resource Guide to help you navigate what’s available.
