The Harnett County Democratic Party has several caucuses, committees, and organizations that you can join.

The Young Democrats of Harnett County is an official chapter of The Young Democrats of North Carolina. If you are between the ages of 16-35 and would like to get involved with the Young Democrats, you can reach us at: [email protected] or visit our HCDP Young Democrats Facebook page, request to join our Facebook group Young Democrats of Harnett County, and/or email [email protected].

The Young Democrats of Harnett County meets the first Thursday of the month at 7:00pm at Tacos Oaxaca, 809 W Front St, Lillington.

Harnett County Democratic Women

All registered Democratic women are eligible to be a member of this group.

Our objectives are:

  • To support and promote the principles of the Democratic Party
  • To encourage women to seek public office and to participate in Democratic Party activities.
  • To work with the NCDP Executive Committee to strengthen the Democratic Party in NC.
  • To assist in organizing and maintaining active Democratic Women's organizations at the state, district, and county levels.
  • To initiate and carry out programs and projects on behalf of the Democratic Party, and to promote the election of Democrats.
