February is Black History Month and Harnett County Democratic Party and the Harnett County NAACP join together to present the 4th Civil Rights Stories Remembered. Come hear African American elders tell stories tell of racism here in Harnett County, when public places were segregated, jobs withheld, promotions passed over and more. The Klu Klux Klan started in Coats. There's a history of suppression and racism in our county and we cannot forget. Cannot go back.
