Graduation season reminds us of what is possible when we invest in our students and our public schools. But it also calls us to look ahead and help shape what comes next.

Mo Green, North Carolina’s Superintendent of Public Instruction, recently shared an update on a new draft strategic plan for our state’s public schools. The plan, titled Achieving Educational Excellence, outlines priorities for improving outcomes, equity, and opportunity for every student in North Carolina.

Now is the time for public feedback. The plan is still in draft form and will go before the State Board of Education in August. That means there is still time to raise your voice.
