Come join the Harnett County Dems for a training on Saturday, August 23rd from 10am - 1pm at the Harnett County Resource Center.

We will discuss the various districts in Harnett, the local, state and national representation as well as the what, how, and when of running for office. We will cover when positions become available, what the positions are and their role in your community, and how you prepare to run for these positions.

Specific topics include: town races, county seats, state seats and congressional seat lines, the cost and requirements to file to run, how the lines are drawn for different districts and finding the areas in which you are eligible to run, and planning and developing your campaign. Please join us as we build community and engage together to make our communities better.
